The third training school was held from 5-7 September 2016 on „Occupational Skin Cancers (OSCs)“ at the Hospital "Policinico" in Modena, Italy. The course was hosted by the Chair of Dermatology, Prof. Dr. Fabriziomaria Gobba, and the Chair of Occupational Medicine, Prof. Dr. Giovanni Pellacani of the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, Italy

A total of 26 trainees from 15 European countries acquired theoretical and practical up-to-date information on solar radiation exposure (evaluation and interaction with biological tissues), OSCs (characteristics, diagnosis and new therapeutic perspectives) as well as epidemiology, legal recognition and prevention of OSCs in Europe.

The lab experience was a particular highlight due to the latest state-of-the art devices and live demonstration of photodynamic therapy with an affected retired farmer.
